Who we are

Print Me Makerspace is responsible for personal information collected through this website.

Contact us at hello@pmmakerspace.com.

Information we collect

When you use a form on this website, we may collect information you choose to provide, including:

  • your name and email address;
  • your telephone number, where provided;
  • your borough, town or other location information, where requested;
  • consultation or enquiry details;
  • your preferred appointment date and time;
  • information, links or files submitted as part of a quote or enquiry; and
  • your booking type, including whether it is through Lewisham BIPC, paid directly or arranged through another route.

Cloudflare Turnstile also processes temporary technical information to check that a form submission is genuine and to help prevent spam and abuse.

Why we use your information

  • to respond to enquiries;
  • to arrange and manage consultations;
  • to prepare quotes and provide requested services;
  • to administer BIPC-related bookings where applicable; and
  • to keep appropriate business and transaction records.

Our legal basis

Depending on your enquiry, we use your information because it is needed to respond to your request or take steps towards providing a service or contract. We may also need it to meet legal obligations, such as keeping appropriate business records, or because we have a legitimate business interest in responding to and managing enquiries.

Submitting a form does not sign you up for marketing. These forms are not used to add people to a marketing list.

BIPC bookings

Information entered on this website is sent to Print Me Makerspace. It is not automatically sent to BIPC or Lewisham Council.

If you select a BIPC booking option, we use that information to administer your consultation and identify the route through which it was booked.

Payments

If you choose to pay for a consultation, payment is handled by an external payment provider, currently PayPal. Print Me Makerspace does not collect or store your full payment-card details through this website.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to operate the website and forms, including Cloudflare for website security and spam protection, and Resend to deliver form submissions to our business email addresses. They process information only to provide those services to us.

We do not pass your personal details to BIPC services, councils or other organisations simply because you make a BIPC booking or register interest in another area.

We may use anonymous combined figures to show demand in different areas. These figures will not identify anyone.

How long we keep information

  • Uploaded quote artwork is kept for up to 30 days and then deleted.
  • Consultation, quote and related correspondence is normally kept for up to 12 months after the enquiry is completed, unless it becomes part of a customer or accounting record.
  • Customer and accounting records may be kept for up to six years where required for tax, legal or record-keeping purposes.
  • Other borough interest records are reviewed regularly and deleted when they are no longer useful for assessing demand.
  • If you ask for an area-availability update, your email address is kept until that request has been dealt with or you ask us to delete it.
  • Temporary security information is kept only for as long as needed to prevent spam and abuse.

Your rights

You may ask us for access to your personal information, ask us to correct it, request deletion or restriction, object to some uses, or ask for a portable copy where the law provides these rights.

If you are unhappy with how we use your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
