About Print Me Makerspace

Return to the website

Print Me Makerspace is a digital fabrication, printing and creative production studio in Bell Green, Lewisham, South East London. We help individuals, makers, artists, start-ups and small businesses turn ideas into finished products, learn how different production methods work and explore ways to start or grow a creative side hustle.

Our digital fabrication services include UV printing, laser cutting and engraving, UV laser engraving, 3D printing, DTF printing, sublimation and heat-press garment personalisation. We can work across a wide range of creative projects, from personalised products, garments and promotional items to acrylic pieces, signage, prototypes and small production runs. Explore our xTool F2 Ultra UV laser experiments.

We also provide professional printing and print-and-cut services, including stickers, labels, posters, booklets, business printing, window vinyl and other printed materials for individuals and small businesses. Our equipment includes specialist UV, eco-solvent, sublimation and professional digital printing technology, allowing us to support projects that may be difficult or uneconomical to produce through conventional high-volume printers.

Our work is also informed by several years of experience in antique ceramic and furniture restoration. That practical background is particularly useful when assessing an original object, understanding how an obsolete component functions and deciding whether CAD design and 3D printing may provide a suitable replacement part. Our completed ML80 Ligne Roset shelving restoration project shows this process in practice.

For health reasons, we do not undertake hands-on antique ceramic restoration. We can, however, offer initial advice based on previous experience and signpost enquiries to an appropriate restoration specialist.

Print Me Makerspace is also about learning and access to equipment. We offer practical guidance, demonstrations and one-to-one support for people who want to understand digital fabrication and printing equipment, develop a product idea, create a prototype or explore small-scale production.

Creative Training in Lewisham – Arts Award & Train the Trainer

At Print Me Makerspace, our approach to training is informed by both the Arts Award learning framework and Train the Trainer principles, combining structured creative development with practical, hands-on learning.

Our training experience extends to Gold Arts Award level, providing a framework that encourages learners to explore ideas, develop technical skills, document their progress, reflect on their achievements and work towards independent creative practice.

Our Train the Trainer background influences how we design and deliver every course. Learning is broken down into manageable stages, with clear objectives, practical demonstrations and opportunities to apply new skills through real projects.

Arts Award qualifications are available to eligible learners aged 25 and under, with our intended formal programme for adults aged 18–25. Ordinary PM Makerspace training is open to other ages, as the principles behind our teaching are not age-restricted.

Whether someone is learning to use a heat press, exploring digital fabrication or developing a creative side hustle, the same educational approach underpins our practical arts and digital fabrication training.

Participation in a standard course does not automatically lead to an Arts Award qualification. Formal assessment and certification require enrolment on an eligible Arts Award programme.
